Question 1

What is the AI Receptionist?

Accepted Answer

It's a voice AI that answers your business phone, qualifies the caller, answers their questions, and books appointments straight into your calendar — 24/7 on your existing number.

Question 2

Will customers know they're talking to an AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We disclose it on the greeting because it builds trust and most customers don't care once they realize they're getting answered immediately instead of voicemail.

Question 3

What does the AI sound like?

Accepted Answer

Natural and conversational. We tune the voice, pace, and personality to match your brand — friendly trades, polished professional, etc.

Question 4

Can it transfer calls to a human?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anything you flag as 'must talk to a person' (emergencies, VIP customers, specific topics) routes to your on-call line in real time.

Question 5

Does it handle multiple calls at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes — unlimited concurrent calls. Storm days, marketing surges, seasonal rushes: every caller gets through.

Question 6

What languages does it support?

Accepted Answer

English by default. We can configure additional languages and have it switch mid-call when a caller prefers another language.

Question 7

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Most businesses go live within 5–7 business days. We do a kickoff call, build your knowledge base and call flows, you review, we go live.

Question 8

Do I need to change my phone number?

Accepted Answer

No. We forward your existing business number — landline, VoIP, mobile, or toll-free — so customers keep dialing what they already know.

Question 9

What do you need from me to set up?

Accepted Answer

Service area, business hours, services and pricing structure, brands serviced, common questions, calendar access, and how you want emergencies routed.

Question 10

Do I need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything runs in the cloud. You'll get a dashboard login to review calls and update settings.

Question 11

Can I update the AI after it's live?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Same-day updates are standard — change your hours, add a service, expand your area, tweak how a question is answered.

Question 12

How is it priced?

Accepted Answer

Plans are billed monthly, and some plans include per-minute fees on calls. Higher tiers bundle a set number of minutes, with any overage charged at a published per-minute rate. Pricing is transparent and scales with your call volume — book a call for a quote tuned to your business.

Question 13

Is there a contract?

Accepted Answer

Month to month. Cancel any time after the first month with 30 days' notice.

Question 14

Is there a setup fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a one-time onboarding fee covers knowledge base build, voice tuning, calendar integration, and go-live testing.

Question 15

What happens if I exceed my included minutes?

Accepted Answer

Overage is billed at a published per-minute rate. Most businesses upgrade tiers before hitting overage.

Question 16

Do you offer a free trial?

Accepted Answer

We offer a guided demo and a money-back window after go-live. Book a call and we'll walk you through it.

Question 17

How fast does it pick up?

Accepted Answer

After whatever ring count you set — typically 3 rings. Most callers never hear more than that.

Question 18

What if the AI gets a question wrong?

Accepted Answer

It captures the caller's contact info and routes the lead to your team with a transcript so you can follow up. We add the question to the knowledge base so it doesn't happen again.

Question 19

Do I get call recordings and transcripts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every call gets a recording, transcript, summary, and lead record in your dashboard.

Question 20

What about uptime?

Accepted Answer

We run on cloud infrastructure with redundant routing. If anything fails, calls fall back to your existing voicemail or on-call line — never a dead line.

Question 21

Will it sound robotic?

Accepted Answer

No. The voice is natural and conversational. Most callers don't realize they're talking to AI until we tell them.

Question 22

What calendars do you support?

Accepted Answer

Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 directly. Most field-service software (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, etc.) reads from one of those.

Question 23

Can it write into my CRM?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We push leads, call summaries, and bookings into common CRMs via direct integration or webhook.

Question 24

Does it work with my dispatch software?

Accepted Answer

If your dispatch tool reads from Google or Microsoft calendars, yes. Direct integrations with major field-service platforms are available.

Question 25

Can it text customers?

Accepted Answer

Yes — booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups by SMS are built in.

Question 26

Can it send leads to my email?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every lead can be emailed to one or more inboxes in addition to the dashboard.

Question 27

What industries do you serve?

Accepted Answer

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, cleaning, garage door, painting, landscaping, pest control, auto repair, home services, and more. See the Industries section for full coverage.

Question 28

Can it handle emergency vs. routine calls differently?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Emergency keywords (no heat, burst pipe, no power) trigger your on-call escalation; routine calls get booked into the normal calendar.

Question 29

Does it work for businesses with no office staff?

Accepted Answer

Especially well. Owner-operators get the biggest lift — every call answered, every booking made, while you're on the job.

Question 30

Can multiple locations share one AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can route by area code, ZIP, or caller selection across multiple locations or service zones.

Question 31

What about seasonal businesses?

Accepted Answer

Pause and resume month-to-month. Many seasonal businesses run AI year-round just to capture off-season inquiries that would otherwise go to voicemail.
