Question 1

How does the AI receptionist's usage-based billing work?

Accepted Answer

On usage-based plans you only pay for what your AI actually handles. AI usage is billed in USD: voice calls at about US$0.39 per minute and AI text messages at about US$0.06 each. As a rough guide, US$10 covers roughly 25 minutes of voice calls or around 165 messages. Usage is typically a small, predictable amount that scales with how busy you are. (Your plan fee is in CAD; only metered AI usage is billed in USD.)

Question 2

What does "unlimited (fair-use)" mean?

Accepted Answer

On our unlimited plans (Scale, Dominate, and the AI Receptionist Unlimited plan) you get unlimited voice AI for normal business call volume — no metering, no per-minute math. "Fair-use" simply means it's sized for a typical local business; if your call volume is dramatically higher than usual, we'll reach out to find the right fit. No surprises.

Question 3

Do I need a website to get the AI receptionist?

Accepted Answer

No. If you already have a website, our AI Receptionist–Only plans ($127 or $397/mo + a one-time $500 setup) add the receptionist to your existing setup. If you'd like a website too, Elevate and above include the AI receptionist — a one-time $500 setup fee applies to all AI receptionist plans.

Question 4

What's the $500 setup fee — and when is it waived?

Accepted Answer

Setup covers building and training your AI receptionist, connecting your phone number, and testing everything before it goes live. It applies to every AI receptionist plan, including the standalone plans and Elevate, Scale, and Dominate. The setup fee is not waived.

Question 5

What's the difference between monthly and yearly?

Accepted Answer

Yearly plans give you 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and get 12. You can pay monthly or yearly on every plan; just use the toggle at the top to compare.

Question 6

Can I upgrade or change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can move up a plan as your business grows. Reach out any time and we'll handle the switch.

Question 7

Is there a contract?

Accepted Answer

Plans are billed monthly or yearly and you can choose whichever suits you.
